Itinerary:
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar – Khuvsgul Lake
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Airport. Fly to the town of Murun in the Khuvsugul province. When we arrive at the Murun airport we will be picked up by local driver and drive to the Lake. Total distance is 100km and we will arrive in the Khatgal village. We will then go a little further to reach our Ger-Camp or stay by the Lake Khuvsgul, in Khatgal village in a guest house. The lake is the largest freshwater lake in Central Asia. The landscape around the lake is unique and inimitable in its beauty. The depth of the lake is 100-200 m.

Day 2: Khuvsgul Lake – Tsagaan Nuur /350 km/
After breakfast, we will climb to the top of the mountain and see all of Khuvsugul Lake. We will drive to Tsagaan Nuur town and on the way we can see local herders, yaks, goats, cows, sheep and horses. We will eat our lunch in on our way to Tsagaan Nuur and we will stay in a small hotel in Tsagaan nuur. We will have dinner in a hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served as local camping style.

Day 3: Taiga – Tsaatan (Reindeer people)
After breakfast, we will hike about 20 km in mountains of Taiga. We will visit a reindeer family who live in Darkhad’s valley during summer. This valley is only for the people of the Darkhad tribe that can live there, so that’s why it is called Darkhad valley. That reindeer family will prepare horses for us and we will only ride horses while there. Because only horse riding is possible in this valley. We will load our luggage on our horses. We will go through the thick forest on the high mountains and arrive in reindeer people village. When you go through thick forest, rapids and streams, these local horses will make you amazed form how good they are at with difficult terrains. After traveling for 3-4 hours, we will take break and build our tent next to the reindeer family’s Urts. We will meet with the reindeer family and have dinner and rest.

Day 4: Reindeer family
After breakfast, we will see how they milk reindeer and their lifestyle starting with the sunrise and continue our exploration. These reindeer people have been fishing, hunting, picking the fruit and herding the deer for a long time and also their main religion is shamanism and they worship the mountain savdag (spirit). We will see their lifestyles and take some pictures of Taiga Mountain and lake in the midst of mountain while we hike and ride a horse. Also you can see how reindeer people buy and sell things and have their children receive an education in this hard situation. You can be sure that you will see more interesting things. We will have meals in our tent and rest.

Day 5: Taiga – Tsagaan Nuur
After breakfast, we will give thanks to our reindeer family and ride our horse and leave the reindeer people town. We will meet up with our driver and go back to Tsagaan Nuur town. We will stay in little town hotel and have dinner over there.

Day 6: Tsagaan Nuur Lake – Murun
After breakfast, we will drive to Murun for about 10 hours and it will be long trip. We will stay in Hotel in Murun city.

After breakfast, we will fly to Ulaanbaatar from Murun city by domestic flight. Once we arrived in Ulaanbaatar, we will take you to your hotel.
