Raising Dion was created by music video

director Dennis Liu, and was released as a comic book and short film. Carol Barbee (UnREAL) will serve as showrunner and executive producer, and has also written the script for the first episode, which Liu will direct.
"More than ever, we need more stories told from different points of view and my hope with Raising Dion is to create a cinematic experience for all families that will lift your spirits and make you laugh and cry," said Liu in a statement.
MACRO's Charles D. King, Kim Roth and Poppy Hanks, as well as Kenny Goodman and Michael Green (American Gods) are also all on board as executive producers.
