Weiss and David Benioff themselves will be directing the series finale of Game of Thrones. The very busy pair haven’t directed an episode since the Season 4 premiere, “Two Swords”—but perhaps with Emmy winners Sapochnik and Nutter on board, Weiss and Benioff are hoping to add best directing Emmys of their own to an already impressive cache.
